She is Emeritus Professor in Film Studies at Queen Mary University of London, was Director of \u2018Cinema Culture in 1930s Britain\u2019 and is Co-Investigator of \u2018Cinema Memory and the Digital Archive\u2019<em>.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0She writes on film history, on object-relations psychoanalysis and film theory, and on cultural memory in relation to photography and cinema. Publications include <em>An Everyday Magic: Cinema and Cultural Memory <\/em>(2002); <em>Family Secrets: Acts of Memory and Imagination <\/em>(2002); <em>Locating Memory: Photographic Acts <\/em>(2006, co-edited with Kirsten Emiko McAllister); and <em>Exploring Cinema Memory <\/em>(2023). She is co-author, with Guy Westwell, of the <em>Oxford Dictionary of Film Studies<\/em>, (2nd\u00a0ed\u00a02020).<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/fass\/projects\/cmda\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/richard.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-547 alignright\" style=\"border-radius: 10%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/fass\/projects\/cmda\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/richard.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"149\" height=\"192\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nRichard Rushton<\/strong> in Professor in Film Studies at ¶¶ÒõÌ½Ì½App, UK, and is Principal Investigator of the \u2018Cinema Memory and the Digital Archive\u2019 project, funded by the AHRC.
